Welcome to Forces Focus, a website dedicated to all aspects copy-of-dscn2378.JPGof the military world. With our armed forces currently deployed in two major theatres - Iraq and Afghanistan – the shortfalls in care and support to our armed forces are increasingly apparent. Our forces are experiencing critical overstretch, inadequate equipment and prolonged tours of duty whilst abroad, and substandard housing, insufficient welfare provisions and questionable support when back home. This isn’t good enough.

copy-of-military-car.JPGOur armed forces have the right to a duty of care, but reports are coming back that this is not being met. Has the military covenant been broken or is it just being stretched? How can we best meet the needs of our service men and women?

This site will delve  into these issues, outlining our own proposals for the armed forces and defence as well as monitoring the actions and shortfalls of the Ministry of Defence.
